La nouvelle cheffe du gouvernement de la République démocratique du Congo Judith Suminwa  a pris officiellement ses fonctions ce mercredi 12 Juin, quelques heures après l’investiture de son gouvernement à l’Assemblée nationale.

Dans son mot de circonstance indique l’ACP, Judith Suminwa a promis de poursuivre le travail de son prédécesseur.

« Il s’agit pour ma part de la continuité dans le travail (…), » a-t-elle déclaré.

Pour la Première ministre Suminwa, « Ce qui est ressorti des échanges avec les députés élus du peuple, c’est des préoccupations qui ressortent de la population elle-même, la nécessité d’avoir plus d’emplois, particulièrement pour les jeunes, nécessité d’améliorer le pouvoir d’achat, la stabilité macroéconomique et la stabilité du taux de change,(…) mais pour avoir tout ça, il est aussi important d’avoir une meilleure sécurité »

Et d’ajouter:

« Nous ne pouvons pas continuer à accepter ce qui se passe à l’Est avec cette agression du Rwanda à travers le M23».

Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde, Premier ministre sortant a rappelé les principales missions qui lui avaient été confiées par le Chef de l’Etat et les réformes importantes initiées par son gouvernement.

« Je voudrais rappeler qu’il y a trois ans, des missions précises m’avaient été données avec des secteurs précis. Premièrement la sécurité, dans ce secteur face à cette agression barbare que nous continuons de vivre de la part du Rwanda, tant des réformes étaient attendues, celles relatives à la programmation militaire et qui doit se poursuivre, » a-t-il dit.

« Ensuite, nous avions la santé qui, elle aussi, nécessitait des réformes précises avec une d’entre elles, phare, et chère au Président de la République, celle de la couverture santé universelle, déjà amorcée avec la gratuité de la maternité et qui, elle aussi, doit se poursuivre », a poursuivi Sama Lukonde.

”Enfin, L’éducation, avec la gratuité de l’enseignement primaire qui est salutaire pour notre pays parce que la jeunesse a besoin d’être éduquée”, a épinglé en substance  Sama Lukonde qui n’a pas non plus manqué d’évoquer le Programme de Développement des 145 Territoires (PDL-145T) et des événements importants organisés au pays durant son mandat.
