De plus en plus d’enfants deviennent sous nos yeux,victimes de la guerre Israël-Hamas. Depuis le 7 octobre, des milliers et des milliers de bébés et d’enfants ont été tués ou blessés par l’armée israélienne à Gaza.
Ce lundi 20 novembre 2023 c’est la Journée internationale des droits de l’enfance.
Petite historique de cette journée: il ya eu deux 20-Novembre très symboliques
1954, l’Assemblée générale a recommandé à tous les pays d’instituer une « Journée mondiale de l’enfance », qui serait une journée de fraternité mondiale et de compréhension entre les enfants, et d’activités favorisant le bien-être des enfants du monde entier. Elle a proposé aux gouvernements que cette Journée soit célébrée à la date qui leur semblait la plus appropriée. C’est le 20 novembre qui a été choisi, le jour d’adoption par l’Assemblée de la Déclaration des droits de l’enfant en 1959
Le 20 novembre 1989, les Nations Unies adoptaient à l’unanimité la Convention relative aux droits de l’Enfant: les droits de chaque enfant du monde étaient désormais reconnus par un traité international, ratifié par 197 Etats. Depuis, le 20 novembre a été déclaré Journée internationale des droits de l’enfant – un temps fort que l’UNICEF célèbre chaque année. Dans la Convention Internationale des Droits de l'Enfant (CIDE) près de 200 pays signataires ont dressé définit une liste de droits de l’enfant dont le droit à la vie, à la santé, à l’éducation et le droit de jouer, ainsi que le droit à une vie de famille, à être protégé de la violence et de la discrimination, et de faire entendre sa voix.

L’Unicef estime que “la vie d’un million d’enfants ne tient qu’à un fil”, soit près de la moitié de la population (2,3 millions d’habitants au total) de la bande de Gaza. Quelle est leur réalité aujourd’hui ?
“On voit des situations absolument inimaginables, avec des enfants recueillis dans les décombres. On a aussi des enfants dont on ne connaît pas les parents, on ne sait même pas leurs noms. Ils sont parfois âgés de 2, 3 ou 4 ans. Ils ne peuvent pas parler, quand ils peuvent. Quand ils sont en âge de parler, ils sont tellement sous le choc qu’ils ne peuvent même pas donner leur nom.
