La RDC est le terrain du théâtre des groupes rebelles dans sa partie Est depuis plus de deux décennies. D’après Martin Fayulu, la situation catastrophique du Congo est directement liée au génocide rwandais de 1994.

Dans sa déclaration sur X ce 10 avril, Martin Fayulu demande au peuple congolais de refuser la continuation de cette situation désastreuse qui tue la nation en lui prenant ses fils et filles de manière lâche et sale. La politique fait comprendre qu’il est désormais impossible d’espérer une quelconque solution de la communauté internationale, d’où l’intérêt pour le peuple congolais d’agir par soi-même.

« En ce moment où le Rwanda commémore son génocide (génocide des Tutsis, Hutus et Twa), nous rappelons qu’en RDC, un Holocauste continue à se produire, un autre génocide, conséquence directe du premier. Et cela, dans l’indifférence totale de la communauté internationale. Congolais, réveillons-nous et refusons cet état des choses !», a-t-il dit.

Notons que la RDC continue à multiplier les efforts pour se débarrasser de tous les groupes rebelles qui œuvrent sur son territoire. Avec l’appui des forces armées régionales, notamment celle de la SADC, plusieurs localités à l’Est du pays ont pu échapper à la prise en otage des rebelles ennemis du Congo.
