For those concerned about pairing a dive watch with a bracelet clasp that might be more at home on a much link less sporty watch Dietrich is also including a rubber strap and the bracelet is welcomely fitted with tool-less quick-change. Indeed for any of the wrist shots seen here showing other straps I removed the bracelet with my fingertips and then when I wanted to switch back the one-two punch of drilled lugs and the quick-change bracelet means zero stress and hopefully zero scratches.

This watch, a Rolex Yatch-Master 16622, is not only the watch that Hurley got from Rolex after 30 years of working with the brand, but it’s also a watch that Hurley casually handed to me several years ago in the lobby of a hotel in Carmel, California, during Monterey Car Week. I had maybe two minutes to chat with Hurley and get a couple of shots of the watch, which can still be seen in my photo report from the event.

You have to know a bit of everything when you go to meet a client. You don’t have to be an expert on everything, but you have to have the right level of knowledge on it link all. And then, of course, you have your favorites on which you know a bit more.
