The 2022 health workforce study by the World Health Organization’s African Region gives a grim picture of General Paul Kagame’s Rwanda.

The study shows the following dismal figures on Rwanda’s health workforce:

1) Physicians (generalists): 786;

2) Physicians (specialists): 567;

3) Nurses and Midwives: 10,758;

4) Dentists: 228;

5) Pharmacists and technicians: 167;

6) Laboratory personnel: 1,990;

7) Community health workers: 45,000);

8) Other health workers: 506.

The total number of Rwanda’s health workforce is 59,996 in a population of 13.7 million.

Shame on you, General Kagame, with your boasts about transforming Rwanda.
