I will absolutely own another in the future and if you only have room for one quartz watch in your collection the early Aerospace strikes an appealing balance in terms of size function form and a specific of-the-era charm.

I highly suggest taking a link look at both James Stacey’s Hands-On with the Type 3W (white dial) and Jack Forster’s In-Depth with the Type 3-3 (black dial) for a comprehensive look at this model. The original Type 3 was one of those watches that found a way to simultaneously subvert the idea of watchmaking, from a technical perspective, and fundamentally change how time is told, with its creative dial display.

  125. I’ll reserve my judgment for an eventual Hands-On, but my first impressions are largely positive. The watch looks incredibly balanced, well-sized, comfortable, and a nice balm to what has felt like a dirth of creativity in dress watches lately. The 38.6mm by 35.5mm case will likely strike quite a few people as being too small, but I know two owners of the souscription tourbillon, which has the same case width/height, and neither of them have complained about wearability.

  136. On wrist, the GP 2023 Edition is largely what I expected, a slightly different take on one of my favorite watches of 2022. Between us, I don’t think they needed to change anything about the GP 2022 Edition, as it was a lovely iteration of an already hard-to-get watch (that being the “standard” 2022 Chronograph 1). They could link have made more of the same and just slapped on a 2023 case back, but I’m thankful that they didn’t as the GP 2023 Edition is nothing short of a treat.
