David Cameron is back, Suella Braverman sacked

David Cameron returns in cabinet as UK foreign secretary. Suella Braverman is sacked as home secretary and replaced by the foreign secretary, James Cleverly.

Jeremy Hunt remains as chancellor. Thérèse Coffey,former deputy prime minister under Liz Truss, resigned from her position, she is replaced by the health secretary, Steve Barclay.

Barclay is replaced at health by Victoria Atkins, a junior Treasury minister, while Richard Holden, a junior transport minister,replaces Greg Hands as party chair.

David Cameron said he was “delighted to accept” Sunak’s offer. “I believe in public service,” he added.
